The story behind The Window Room began in the middle of Kigali, Rwanda. During a trip in 2006 to teach on the growing AIDs epidemic among the beautiful people of the country, many hours were spent inside a room filled with windows that peered out over the people on their daily commutes. Inside this room, ideas were bred, dreams were fostered, and love was built. It was here that we learned dreaming was possible.
So, after several years working behind a desk, we decided to test this mindset by stepping out of our comfort zones to see what was possible when we take the abilities we have and put them to use for something bigger than ourselves. We hope to open up conversation and birth new ideas by melding relationship, technology and quality. Settling just isn’t in our vocabulary. We believe that lives can be changed, and we’re willing to do it one person—one organization—at a time. We like the adventure, and we hope you do, too.
